Version
10.08.01 - August 15, 2007
Versions
10.08.01 has
worked on making the user interface more pleasing. It has also
changed the Date Fields to only require input of six digits (08l15l07
instead of 08/15/2007). This version incorporates the use of Microsoft
SyncToy for making Backups and Restorations of RTDATA.mdb file (the file
that contains all of your data). It also makes use of Replication so
that the program and data can be shared amongst two users.
Version
9.10.03 - September 24, 2006
Versions 9.10.03 has
fixed a bug that caused the program to go blank when first trying to print
a claim document when initially entering a claim record.
There has also been changes in the initial letter writing screens so that
the user more easily can make the selection of the individual that the
letter is going to be addressed to. We also notice that in some
instances the program does not respond when trying to write a letter to a
General Chairman. In that case, the fix is to make changes to three
different queries in the program. This is tied directly to the
computer being used and this fix is rarely required.
Version
9.09.02 - February 1, 2006
Versions 9.08.01
and 9.09.02 have made further minor user interface enhancements.
There was an issue with backing up the database and that has been
resolved. Some of the UTU logos were not displaying correctly on
documents that the program generates and that was fixed.
Version
9.07.01 - December 15, 2005
Version 9.07.01
has made minor user interface enhancements. The program
automatically detects when the user is trying to enter a date in the Local
Appeal page and enters the correct formatting for the user, eliminating
the need for the user to manually enter slashes (/). Also, when
entering Additional Claimants or Claims, the focus now automatically goes
to the field that should get the focus. This was not happening
before.
Version
9.06.08 - August 15, 2005
Version 9.06.08
has corrected a problem that was causing the Appeal Document generated
with the user's Union Logo to not display the text on the first page of
the document. This was happening in the first screen when the appeal
record was entered.
Version
9.05.08 - August 1, 2005
Version 9.05.08
has corrected a problem that was caused whenever a claim record was shown
withdrawn. Now any record that is shown withdrawn will stay in
withdrawn status indefinitely. Also, when a claim is in General or Waiting
to be Paid status, the report that will generate will be a summary report
of the claim activity, rather than a formal appeal letter. I have
added the Reference field in some of the Look Up screens, so that it will
help the user locate a current claim. Finally, the user is now able
to also search for a claim record by the Reference number that was
originally entered in the claim record.
Version
9.04.05 - May 1, 2005
Version 9.04.05
has corrected a problem in the way that the application sends data from
one user to another user. This may require some minor changes in a
User's RTDATA.mdb file in order for this procedure to work successfully.
If you are interested in being able to have an assistant enter claim
information on one computer and sending that information to you from
RailTrak 2000, contact the author for detailed information.
The
Registration Screen no longer displays information on the subscription
expiration date. Users are given 7 days advance warning when a Trial
or Subscription is set to expire.
Version
9.03.01 - January 1, 2005
Version 9.03.01
has corrected a problem in the way the newer UTU Logo displayed in the UP
Form 10 that Union Pacific Western Lines Local Chairs use.
This version
also brought back the Scheduler Screens to the application. Now the
User is able to keep track of both his or her own schedule as a Local
Chair, but also is able to enter and keep track of the employee vacation
schedule. This is useful for those Local Chairmen who assist in
scheduling vacations for their members.
Version
8.16.12 - December 1, 2004
Version 8.16.12
has corrected a problem that was caused when the User changed the status
of a claim record to "Withdrawn". This would cause the
program to be unable to restart.
When the User
changes the status of a claim record to "Withdrawn", he or she
will be able to generate a withdrawal of claim letter addressed to the
claimant. Thirty days after the date of the withdrawal of claim
letter, the claim record will be automatically updated to
"Closed" status.
When the status
of a claim is updated to "Waiting to be Paid", the claim record
will show up in that Status Basket. Going to the screen that allows
that claim to be updated, allows the User to print out a Claim Report for
the claimant, as well as Formal Appeal Letters or Conference Documents.
Version
8.15.11 - November 8, 2004
Version 8.15.11
has made changes to correct issues with the queries controlling writing
letters to the General Committee, and also the viewing of those
letters.
The Notes
screens have also seen similar changes that mimic the screen colors that
were now used in Version 8.14.11. RailTrak 2000 has moved to a more
generic Windows color scheme.
Version
8.14.11 - November 1, 2004
Version 8.14.11
has made changes so that it is compatible with the new BLET logo. It
also installs the new UTU logo. These logos are used in the
letterheads printed out for union correspondence.
The Expense
screens have been redesigned. The user now has the ability to enter
and manage Expense Categories. It is now much easier to view or
print Expense Reports from a new Expense Reports screen.
The user can
now work with another user by logging claim records on one computer and
then sending those records to another user via email (Using Microsoft
Outlook or Qualcomm's Eudora. This would allow a Vice Local
Chairperson to handle claim writing, giving the Local Chair and easy way
to keep up to date on the records generated. This would also allow
the Vice Local Chair to enter claim records, send them to the Local Chair,
and then have the Local Chair review (maybe edit) and then print the claim
document(s).
Version
8.11.04 - April 1, 2004
Version 8.11.04
has fixed some problems with letter writing to the General
Committee.
The problems
associated with the Additional Claimants screens have been resolved.
Version
8.09.12 - December 1, 2003
Version 8.09.12
has fixed the ability to print an envelope from the Letter to Member(s)
screen.
The ability to
change claim status to Local Appeal and print a batch of selected claims
from the Claims To Process screen
Version
8.07.08 - July 1, 2003
Version 8.07.08
has fixed the ability to print batch appeal documents from the Claims To
Process Screen, the Claims in Conference Screen, and the Claims Under
Local Appeal Screen.
Changes
have been made in the Claim Entry and Claim Update Screens. The
ability to save the Certified Receipt Number for use in subsequent appeal
records has been fixed. A button has been added to the right of this
field to make it easier to initiate the save action. Two check box
fields have also been added to the Conference page in these screens which
allow the user to mark the appeal as having been either allowed in local
conference or allowed under local appeal.
Changes
have been made in the installation procedure which should now allow the
RTFonts to be installed properly upon initial installation. This
does not affect current users.
Version
8.06.08 - July 1, 2003
Version 8.06.08
changed the location of the Preferences table from the program file to the
data file (RTDATA.mdb). This was done so that future update
installations do not require the user to re-enter the user preferences.
This version
also included update to the Codes table and the Descriptions table - the
addition of a "select" field which enables the program to allow
the user to manage the drop down lists of Claim Codes and Brief
Descriptions.
The queries
that make to letter screens work were refined so that the program loads
those screens more quickly and so that programs running in Access 2000 are
more reliable.
